Middle School youth participate in Bible lessons to help them grow in their faith. The middle school class meets in the classroom in Fellowship Hall.
They call themselves “Gimpers” which means someone who will go that extra mile. They meet down in the youth basement at 9:30 every Sunday morning. They usually have a short funny game before the lesson, the youth enjoy that and they laugh a lot.
Before closing in our prayer circle, they have a time for prayer concerns, bummers, and joys. Once or twice a year, they have breakfast and class at a restaurant or fast food place.
The youth are growing together in their faith in Jesus Christ, and they have fun doing so.
Both the middle school and high school youth meet on Sundays at 2 p.m. all year long. Each meeting they spend time in worship, discussion and games. At least once a month they spend evening doing something fun — movies, bowling, ice
skating, progressive dinners or parties.
They participate in service projects throughout the year.
They take a Work Trip every year during summer.
They are active on Sundays through ushering, scripture reading and on Youth Sundays.
