Community Outreach Ministry

At Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, our outreach ministry is rooted in building meaningful relationships and meeting real needs within our community. Through ongoing partnerships with Allen and Caldwell Elementary Schools, we walk alongside students, families, and staff with care and consistency.

We offer opportunities for connection and growth throughout the year, including:

• Easter events that bring joy and hope to our community
• Adult Vacation Bible School during summer worship for deeper faith formation
• Trunk or Treat each fall, creating a safe and fun space for families
• Summer Sale in June, featuring donated items that support our outreach efforts

During the Christmas season, we extend our ministry through special projects that reflect generosity, compassion, and hope.

Our mission is simple: to share the love of Christ through intentional service, consistent presence, and meaningful relationships that strengthen our neighborhood.
